I don't know if he was wearing his picket line walkin' shoes, but they were hard toed enough to kick some GOPer/teabilly ass. Is it too soon for us to crow? Who knows? When you tread on them GOPers and teabilly hordes you are stepping in Deep Doo-Doo. Of that I have zero doubt.

(37,726 posts)I was getting sick of president Obama's pipe dreamed idea of bipartisanship with political terrorists, nut cases and corporate pimps in the GOP/teabillies. I agree that UNITY is what America needs more than just about anything, but the way things stand in Washington since 2000, I believe that viable bipartisanship deals with the right wing is a fool's pipe dream. Hardball is all bullies ever understand. I learned that in grade school. This was all about the Crazies trying to Abort Obama's baby, the health care bill. I'll lighten up when the man I voted for twice, stops appeasing these right wing political brats, who are out to destroy him along with our country. The ACA is so watered down, I still have my own doubts about a deal that has been so diluted by the deals with the right wing, that it's only a shell of what it started out to be. Time to go on speaking softly Mr. president, but always have your big stick handy. You're still going to need it.

(37,726 posts)The difference between me and a republican is, I hold the people I vote for accountable, just like I hold republicans accountable. If I didn't do that, I'd have to consider myself a total hypocrite. I don't fall in line like a little rubber ducky. When I voted for a "democrat, I never expected president Obama to be perfect like the freepers claimed/thought Bush was. I expected hope and change, like I was promised, so many times, during the campaigns. I'm still being spied on, the Bankers got off Scott free for the most part and so did all of the war criminals. I didn't vote for a republican cabinet for a democratic president. I could go on, but my fingers hurt.

Unrec for that misbegotten phrase.

(37,726 posts)But I didn't just fall off the turnip truck this morning. If it walks, talks and does it's job like a lame duck, it's for all intents and purposes, a lame duck, IMHO. You can call it a chicken but it's still a lame duck. An appeaser of right wing political terrorists, up to this point. I have campaigned for, defended and voted for president Obama, but I refuse to lie for him, to myself or to others.
You have a right to your opinion...I thought, that I did too.
I unrecommend your "misbegotten" attitude also.
About your ass, I could care less.
