Senator Cruz, you do not speak for me, or many other Texans like me

I am that single parent you love to talk about...the one who is somehow being "harmed" by "Obamacare."

The "harm" that is being done to me is that I can purchase a policy for $176 a month.
The "harm" is that I don't have to order prescription meds from other countries.
The "harm" is that I can drop my son's $500/quarter temporary high risk policy in favor of a new policy that actually offers coverage and preventative care.

No, Mr. Cruz, get my name out of your mouth...

Thank you.

and I was born here and have lived here most of my life. Good food, lots of stuff to do, mild winters, nice people, and relatively affordable housing make it a pretty decent place to live, despite summers that are too long and hot and some really awful politicians.

We have to rely on the U.S. Senate to do that for us.

So, all of y'all in all the other states out there, see if you can convince your Senators to garner a two-thirds majority to expel Cruz, for the good of the country, and for individuals like ScreamingMeemie!

At least I think he's killing his chances of reelection (from the segment of people I've talked with).

He's a pox.

Texas, like the majority of Southern states, is very broken. But, the good news is that their demographics are changing more rapidly than other states and Texas has the possibility of becoming blue soon.

Did Texans who voted for him know what they were getting, or has his antics taken them by surprise? Just curious ....

He needs to get out of the Senate. Expulsion. Recall. Whatever legal means possible. This guy is TOXIC.

I am that single parent that you talk about (wink wink) as if there is something wrong with ME for not staying in an abusive marriage. I am that single parent who worked her ass off so that her children could have college educations and because of that, they have been able to apply for and get good paying jobs.

It just burns the shit outta you, Mr. Cruz, that I chose to live my life the way that *I* saw fit and didn't succumb to your stupid religious rhetoric and remain barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. Well, welcome to the new Texas, Mr. Cruz. It's turning back blue and I'm going to rub that BLUE all over your sorry ass every chance I get.

Sorry...regaining control here. But I simply despise what this asshole has done to my beloved Texas!
