and the Senate's, uh, package, is a joke:
"This package is a joke compared to what we could have gotten if we had a more reasonable approach," Graham told the Washington Post on Wednesday. "But live and learn; well be doing this in a couple months."
Graham added that Republicans need a different strategy the next time Congress addresses the budget.
"For the party, this is a moment of self evaluation, we are going to assess how we got here," he said. "If we continue down this path, we are really going to hurt the Republican Party long-term."

(7,549 posts)90 percent of Democrats polled said they thought our party was doing the right things in this crisis. Only 7 percent disagreed. The Pukes were pretty much dividied in half.
This should show our Dem leadership that when they stand strong for what we want, we have more than got their back and can unite. I just hope they keep this memory fresh in their minds in the tough times ahead.
