So Who Tipped Off Wall Street That This Crisis Was Going To End? Could It Be.....

Senators and Congressmen calling their brokers to make some buys because they have inside info? I'm sure their brokers aren't under any confidentiality agreement with them and they blabbed it to other brokers.

Well American People - how do you feel about being in the stock market these days - when your elected officials and their stockbrokers are beating you to the punch? When will you realize the system is rigged against us little people and only the privileged few - get to benefit?

If this crisis has taught us anything - it is that - we have to change this system. The Repugs were talking about 'fairness'. We need to start with this.

One billionarire sees a buying opportunity and the rest follow. No one needs a 'tip', they just look at what the next guy over is doing. And that guy may simply be making a guess.

7. Billionaires don't buy something because someone else is doing it.

That is why they are billionaires.

10. True. But one billionaire makes an initial buy and then 10,000 wannabes follow in his/her wake.

The result is the same.

The DOW dipped until last Thursday when it became clear that Boehner really had not path forward except to bring a Senate bill to the floor.

Since then, as the default date approached, the Dow came back some each day, because the reality of Boehner's situation continued to be reaffirmed over and over.

The market has been going up almost everyday during this made-up "crisis." The market is happy we have a budget with a sequester than limits spending to less than Paul Ryan's budget proposal.

Private contractors could look at all emails, texts and listen to recorded calls with no oversight.

That's the best info available -- listen to Cruz and Boehner's phones and know EXACTLy what the deal includes.

and you should also be aware that many, if not most traders, brokers and brokerage firms have subscriptions to the direct news wire services like AP, Reuters etc. and are getting the news before it is put up on CNN's website or reported on TV. It's not illegal, it's just how it is.

... I kinda called it right so far and made a few bucks in the last two weeks. I suspect a couple of our other more astute members here on this thread did also.

Besides keeping up and making estimates of probabilities of future events, one also has to know a little about how the markets really work. Something that the average citizen sorely lacks.
