When this is over....

The Congress should pass legislation to keep it from ever happening again. The debt limit should never be used as a political bargaining chip. There is a regular order to pass laws and to repeal laws. Extortion is not acceptable. No one should be permitted to shut down debate unilaterally without a vote. This process needs to be fixed immediately.

Aren't they talking about just a minuscule reprieve from the next crisis?

And my impression is it's partly the Dems that don't want a longer term fix because they want to end the sequester and the CR keeps the sequester intact.

We are going right back into this same boat in a couple short months, so exhale while you can.
