Mr. Boehner has no division

Gettysburg is a better analogy than Appomatox. They're not gone yet, but this looks like their high water mark.

"Huh? Doesn't it have to go through senate and house? Or has it already and now Obama will sign?"

That was a concession right out of the gate. Democrats have won - they should craft the bill WE/THEY want and not throw the terrorists a bone with continuation of sequestration levels of funding the government.

Then we should prep the time machine, return to the Titanic, sign the final agreement and leave
the Republicans on the sinking ship while the Democrats row away to safety.

Seriously. What they've done is so asinine. It's incomprehensible that adults with functioning
neurons could actually believe that these actions were loaded with "win." I mean, these are
Ivy-League educated, privileged powerbrokers. And we're actually supposed to believe that they
thought this was a good idea?

This is the only reason that I think we're going off the cliff. And maybe I'm overthinking here. I just
don't buy into the notion that grown adults are behaving this way. This must be part of some bigger
scheme. It just has to.

It doesn't make one fricking bit of sense. These are not stupid people.
