Let's say it: Traitors.
Republicans created this, they own it, and they will pay for it. The country they swore to serve and protect is being dragged into a recession, damaging our financial credibility, and pushing us towards REAL DAMAGE to the place the US holds in world affairs - all through their stupidity and arrogance.
This is what terrorists do - this is what traitors do - this is what Republicans are doing. You on the right - you own this - you created this, you planned for this, you are getting what you wanted. Now there will be a time to pay the price. See you at the polls - in our rear view mirrors. Your days as a viable party on any front are just about over.
The public's memories can be short - but not this time...

(15,438 posts)That's exactly what Republicans are - without exception - TRAITORS. And we better not forget in the coming elections, beginning NOW.
Throw all those traitors out, and anyone who wears that shameful 'R' by their name in any election. The Republican Party NOW must be shown that threatening the full faith and credit of the United States, shutting down our government because they didn't get their way, and bowing to the TeaBaggers in their districts and in the U.S. House, will not go unpunished. Otherwise, those who vote for these traitors are traitors to this country, too.

(6,476 posts)Did that and I don't see the changes we need to make coming. We can only make a difference, a change, by putting pressure on them and that means bodies in the street. That is why Occupy was so threatening to them...it gave us a voice. We need 50,000 people to show up at any given time for peaceful protest and we need to keep it up.
I don't know what else will make a difference...and we're running out of time.

On edit: I may not like the decision of the majority, but I do insist on it!
