Today we claim the victory that is rightfully ours!

No equivocation, no quarter given, no exceptions.

Either we stand together or we'll fall together.

Grasp it like you own it.

What a glorious morning it is, my peoples.

Greetings, all!

Hard to say.

Either way somebody will judge it to be a victory if the (R) just look bad and lose the next election.

Others will only consider it to be a victory of the House does it's little job of passing the only kind of bill that the Senate and the President have said they'd agree to. (Rather like the President's job is signing any bill that the the chambers of Congess agree to, and the Senate's job is passing bills that the House and President would agree to.)

Good to know this, I think we deserve victory always and we should get that always without any delay.

But as a Republican loss. There is a difference. And 'winning' leads too often to hubris.

that I wish they would implode and that raphael edward cruz would be drawn and quartered for the treasonous bastard he is.

And that sarah palin would come down with a non ending form of laryngitis.

Or is their some sort of soul crushing caveat given to McConnell?

It is a beautiful day indeed when we liberals win! Also, kind of shocking. Here in Texas, True blue Dems are not used to winning!

Hey, I hope you're right, but I never thought they would shut down the government in the first place. I never thought we would come this close to a default, either. Whatever ends up on the table, I'm nervous that Republicans will find a way to destroy it.

Sorry, but there have been WAY too many advance declarations of victory during this whole sorry mess. This country is in a lot worse shape than I ever thought it was.
