There are plenty of left-anarchists as well, but they're just as likely to be pissing and moaning about the prosecution of whistleblowers and Trans-Pacific Partnership and other things the administration is doing wrong.

You can count on Anonymous when it comes to bullying and genuinely evil dictators. But they don't have much interest in ordinary politics.

investigation at steubenville. but it worked for the victim.

no one is fooled. we get it. and who the fuck cares as long as this is addressed. that is what public pressure and shaming is all about. getting the otherwise not so decent, to do the decent.

. . . "Anonymous targets Missouri town for refusing to prosecute man who raped 14-year old girl." Here is a link to that topic:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=3847046

I posted a reply in that topic to another DU member who had replied to her post. I've copied and pasted my reply below. I think the information I've provided in my post should answer your question.

23. I suspect Dreamer Tatum would prefer that these scandals be covered up . . .

. . . and never mentioned. She's never expressed any sympathy for the rape victim in the Steubenville case. She seems to be more concerned about the image of football than she is about rape victims when the perp happens to be a player(s) or a coach. I suspect she belongs to the Poppy Harlow and Candy Crowley club.

You can read a sample of her compassion here at the link below. She makes her priorities perfectly clear. Again, she was more outraged over the possibility of the football program being hurt than she was about the victims, who will have to live with their trauma for the rest of their lives.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1014193445

She had the following to say about the Steubenville scandal:

41. So glad we have DU, Facebook, Twitter, etc...eliminates the need for courts.

And due process...juries of peers...and so forth.

Also how lucky are we that we have a group of completely anonymous people who collect and disseminate
evidence using whatever means they see fit? Take THAT, 4th Amendment!

All bolstered by the empirical fact that everyone who ever says anything on the internet MUST be truthful, so
we can now make ridiculous claims that an entire town is filled with exactly two sorts of people: rapists, and
people getting raped.

Man, technology is WONDERFUL.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022142389

(As far as I know, she has never expressed any outrage over the Michael Nodianos video or any of the incredibly ugly aspects of this scandal, including the death threats received by the 16-year-old victim following the verdict. Her jeers were reserved only for Anonymous. A classic case of stoning the messenger with bad news.)

But take a look at the comments she made in this topic:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022334880#post23

There seems to be an inconsistency here.

the state of missouri has a whole pile of shit and many webs of deceit to to dig through.

let's not let them shove it all into a corner and think we are forgetting.

- for daisy and her family and the 13 year old and all of the other rape victims who have been made the criminals. may they all have justice and may their nightmares end.

I would not be surprised to learn of another victim. I am glad they are going to going forward with an attempt at prosecution. I just hope the process isn't corrupted.
I just wish I could have been there to see the look on these creeps faces when they got the news this was not going away. Maybe we can find out what happened to MB and his DWI.

He was charged and the case was dealt with in Nodaway court through an attorney.
He got a suspended sentence, with two years probation on the DWI.
