Does Anyone Here Have Real Facts As To Whether

people on Social Security and/or other incomes that "we the people" rely on to live will continue? I'm hearing there will be NOTHING after Thursday if we default.

If nothing, then do we just lose that income and NEVER get reimbursed? I realize that this could be a question nobody can answer, but I'm really worried. When people are unable to pay their bills it's bound to sink a person's good credit rating.

I'm sitting on the brink right now! Right now my credit is very good, but do depend on SS each month. This is scary to so many of us.

If the debt ceiling isn't raised for an extended period, I don't think anyone really knows what will happen.

[div class="excerpt" style="margin-left:1em; border:1px solid #bfbfbf; border-radius:0.4615em; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #999999 inset;"]Under the most alarming scenario, as soon as Friday, payments to Medicare and Medicaid providers, unemployment benefits, Social Security checks and tax refunds would be postponed for one to four days.

  <-snip->

With huge payments due in early November, the situation would become grimmer. Nearly $60 billion in Social Security checks, veterans benefits and pay for active-duty troops is due Nov. 1. Those could be delayed nearly two weeks, according to the Bipartisan Policy Center’s analysis.

34. Would seniors continue to get Social Security benefits? Yes. Social Security is a mandatory spending program, and the people who send those checks would continue to work under a legal doctrine called "necessary implication."

So much flying around and my anxiety keeps building. What have they done and more important, what will it take for this country to wake up?

I sincerely don't believe that we'll get off this roller coaster for a very long time. Now, once again we're thrust backwards. I was so hoping that THIS year I could finally sell my 5 acres of property down here in Southwest Florida. As I began to see construction starting up again in this area I began to "hope," and that's a word I refused to utter for a very long time.

Oh well, I've gotten used to a tight budget for a long time now.

Thanks again.

Not that THIS place with Rick Scott shines very bright, but maybe, just maybe we can rid ourselves from him.

Charlie Crist is a former Repuke turned Democratic, but Jebby really did him dirty. I didn't vote for him for Governor then, but DID when he ran against Marco Rubio. The Tea-Bag wonder-boy that "Jebby" picked.

Many Democrats were surprised at how Crist governed back then, and many of us turned against the Democratic nominee for Senator and voted for Crist. As a liberal I was attacked back then. But so many of us knew what Jebby was doing and the rift that had grown between Jebby & Crist irked us. Now, we have RUBIO & Scott! Scott isn't popular, but he has money behind him. Raking it in as I speak.

Now, DEMOCRATS who I urged to vote for him back then have seen the light, so let's HOPE we can kick Scott out! It's not going to be easy.

Time will tell... and a super GOTV effort for Crist.
