Here's just two that I know about: a whole bunch of science at the South Pole, including the entire observing season for the South Pole Telescope, has been cancelled.

Here in New Mexico, people who want to cut wood in the national forests can't get permits.

I'm am sure there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of other things that are being affected that you wouldn't normally think of.
