Rasmussen's weekly Generic Congressional Ballot tracker, usually tied, now has Dems up by 7
45% to 38%. Last week it was tied at 40%.
Here's the link to that page on the Rasmussen website
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/top_stories/generic_congressional_ballot
which has the correct numbers at the top ("Generic Congressional Ballot: Generic Ballot: Democrats 45%, Republicans 38%" and in the stats-by-week on the right of the page (though at the moment they have the wrong date for the latest poll, 10/7 instead of 10/13), but as of this time, they've messed up their revision of the main text of the article and the first two paragraphs still refer to last week's 40-40 tie.
Paragraphs farther down the page have the current info:
The national telephone survey of 3,500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports from October 7-October 13, 2013.
Democrats have jumped to a seven-point lead over Republicans on the Generic Congressional Ballot as the government shutdown and the debate over raising the federal debt ceiling drag on.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey for the week ending Sunday, October 13, shows that 45% of Likely Voters would vote for the Democrat in their districts congressional race if the election were held today, while 38% would choose the Republican instead.
The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 2 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
