So if Repubs want to "negotiate"...

... then what are they offering as a concession?

And not closing down the government or not raising the debt ceiling does not count. Those aren't offers those are threats.

Seriously... why do zero pundits and talkingheads ask this? I haven't heard anyone.

They should ask two questions.
Do you want to negotiate with the Democrats?
When they answer yes then ask them. . What will you be offering in these negotiations?
