Autumn blizzerd and summer drought in the upper mid west
Watching the CBS Morning Show and the piece about the devastation in the upper mid west from the blizzard. I wonder how many of those ranchers and farmers that lost cattle and crops consider themselves baggers and right wingers. Now, no federal help for them because of the people they helped to put in congress. It is quite IRONIC isn't it. Now they probably can't wait until the Dems win their battle with the baggers so that federal aid starts flowing again. Yes, it's ok for them to get aid but not anyone else. Typical selfish, bankrupt, republican ideology. Part of me says too bad, so sad. Looks like you'll have to put off buying that new $50k F-350 4x4 long bed with duelies on the back, leather interior with all the bells and whistles for a few years......that the taxpayers help you get by the way.
Maybe they should use their brains before they enter the voting booth next year and put people in congress that want to build this country not burn it down. Looks like the chickens have come home to roost.
But really, isn't that is what government is supposed to do, help people?
