Negotiating, concessions, give and take, and the GOP hostage taking


The GOP shouldn't be given a damn thing for this shutdown. This type of bad behavior and palying games with the full faith and credit of our nation should not be fucking rewarded. They shouldn't get anything they don't have the votes to pass in the house/senate. Thems the rules.

I've heard the Teabaggers I know say its within the Houses power to protest things by not funding them. But as I understand it thats not what the House is doing as the CR for the debt ceiling is not new spending, its payments and interest on existing debt, correct?

The shutdown issue is a bit different, it's about arguing over the budget for future spending.
