Is it about politics? nm... found and subscribed on my phone.

I remember a long time ago he used to host a show on IFC about documentaries. He would interview the filmmaker and highlight the film. I don't remember what it was called.

7. If it's still there...get the interview with Billy Joel.

Very well done...some people find Baldwin off-putting, but I like his interview style. It's more like a conversation than a strict Q & A. He listens, and lets things flow from there.

I often listen to him while at work. One of my survival tools there.

14. I like a conversational style. I listen to Jeff Garlin and Marc Maron's podcasts all the time.

Garlin's is called "By the Way" and they have been hilarious. He does them live at a venue and I've seen a lot of them there, then I still listen to them again because they are sooooo funny. I can't find it on my podcast app so I download them onto my laptop from here:

Maron's is called WTF and surprisingly, he gets some really good in depth and personal talks going with people. I found some of the old timers to be really interesting, hearing about the beginnings of comedy. And actually, the Pauly Shore - who normally I can't stand - one was great since Shore's mom ran a comedy club back in the day, so he had a lot of interesting things to talk about.

But I think Alex needs a format similar to Bill Maher's. He is much better with a crowd, rather than one on one. Just my opinion....Just my opinion.

candidate seems a bit much. I get that NYer's feel they are the center of important stuff in the universe but honestly I'm 3000 miles away and have as much interest in their local elections as they must have in Oakland, Ca's. I bet there are other views around the country who feel much the same.

I hope the next shows have broader focus. Baldwin and his team have a great deal of potential.

12. I adore Alec but his show was like a local access show. It was one local candidate talking

NY centric issues endlessly. I am interested in NYC politics, but 20 minutes of NY as center of the wealthy universe would have sufficed. It got boring.
