McConnell: I'll 'Work With The Government We Have -- Not The One I Wish We Had'

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said Friday that he won't apologize for working with Democrats.

“If you paid any attention to my recent history, I’m not opposed to reaching agreements with this administration,” McConnell told the Lexington Herald-Leader.

He highlighted his role in striking deals with Vice President Joe Biden on the extension of the Bush tax cuts, the 2011 Budget Control Act and the fiscal cliff crisis late last year.

“I brokered all three of them with Joe Biden,” McConnell said. “I do not have the view that it’s inappropriate to talk to Democrats.”

Just not with radical, left-wing, socialist... uh, what's the last, most important one? Something with an N? Oh, nevermind. As long as he's a one term... shit!

Especially when he said that his, and thus Republicans main goal, was to make Obama a one term president.

We see how well that worked out.

This is Mitch's now realizing that he's now needs DINO's/blue dog democrats and indie's to have a chance of winning/regaining his seat as much of the repug/teabagger vote is lost to him now. So watch him start going campaigning not only against his democratic opponent but them also to try and gain them (fat chance).

Let's face it, the teabaggers are goingto primary him no matter what. The Turtle is gambling that by next year, people will be tired of the tea party shenanigans. He's going after independents. Problem is, the voters in the primaries tend to be the hardcore party people, which as of late has been teabaggers. But he'll try to paint his opponent as irrational and destructive.
