I just wish the press would point out that the current Senate budget, that the House refused to consider in conference for 5 months, is the sequestration budget and already reflects a serious compromise by Democrats.
But all they say is MOAR! MOAR! We can't have just shut down the government and gotten nothing for it!
The Koch Bros Inc called them off Obamacare and now they shift towards the age old Entitlements canard.
After all that pool of money is what they are really wanting, isn't it?
Go get some of that dry powder leftover from shrubbies term and blow them to hell. It's high time the DOJ map the flow from the Koch fountain. They have been dancing with the law and I suspect the may have crossed it by threatening to fund primary candidates. I smell extortion and the network seems to have captured a significant number of seats with that tactic.
Stand Strong Democrats. Concede not one fucking dime out of SS or Medicare. Lift the income cap. Oh, BTW we need a stimulus? Give a 10% raise to SS and see what happens. The ROI on that one is like $1.70. Remember you are negotiating with the bastards who cut SNAP from the Ag bill whilst preserving the corporate farm subsidies (many members who voted on this are beneficiaries of the law).
Oh, if they really want to get rid of Obamacare? Let people buy into Medicare, that's a trade I'll take.
