Red Bastion Colorado Springs Hurting From Shut Down

Colorado Springs, Colorado is one of the most red areas in the state. It is also the national capital of the Fundy Nutzie Religious right. They have more churches than mice there. And they almost never vote for a Dem. In fact they recalled two pro worker state Senators over guns control and put in two tea bagger one of whom is a Christianazi and believes in personhood and most like bible based government.

There are two military bases and the Air Force Academy there. Yet they don't like government and want small government. And the Air Force Academy has a reputation of trying to turn everyone at the school to Christians. There has been a number of complaints by cadets about intimidation and pressure from religious right officers and other cadets.

I doubt this shutdown will change their minds.
