7. From what I just read on WTOP.com's website

There are some instances of trucks on the Beltway in all 3 lanes and driving 40 MPH so as to impede traffic, but only about 50 of them came up from Richmond, VA on I95. There were no trucks at the assembly point in Pennsylvania and no trucks coming down from Fredrick, MD. From what I gather, the rain has been more of a traffic problem then the truckers so far - gods know it made my commute from Annapolis to the New Carrollton metro station difficult this morning.

16. I was on the Beltway this morning around 8am

For those that know the area, I was on the outer loop from Colesville Rd. to I-270 in Maryland. I saw a couple of trucks, but basically the same as any morning. No real change from normal (meaning, it was crappy....but definitely not extra-crappy). I think the rain had more to do with any slowness this morning as it was miserable when I was on the road, weather-wise.
