When I am listening to progressive talk it seems like the people who are the most hateful and vindictive are white males. The racist and hate drips out of every syllable. And what is even more noticeable are the number of white males between 20 - 45 who have a chip on their shoulder.
On 760am Denver we have this idiot "Meat Head Mark" who calls in every day to dump RW talking points. He interrupts, he has none of the facts right, and he makes Limbaugh look like a communist. He rarely misses a day and takes the most RW stances on every issue. He is obviously a racist and bigot with an IQ smaller than a shoe side of the child. The host of that progressive show believes in fair and balanced debate.
And there are others who call through the day on Schultz, Hartmann, Goldman. They all appear to be middle age or near middle age.
And they are adamant that Obama is destroying the company and taking their freedom.
Most of these fellows will never retire, be unemployable by 42, and will never have any job security the way jobs are now. They are toast and will have to work until dead. That is because they are against just about every social program and unions. They believe they are supermen who are in great demand their entire life.

(32,017 posts)The twentieth century was remarkable for the speed at which the West changed as a civilization. The rapid changes of the twentieth century are the source of much of the backlash we see today. Failing to take these changes into account renders any attempt to explain the present woefully incomplete.
