It's got much more in common with TX, LA, OK, and MS than MO does, as a whole.

Hell, there's nothing approaching Tulsa in Alabama or Mississippi...

I guess I just mean that MS, AL, LA and even AR really are sort of tied together in a Texas-centered west Gulf economic system, and in a way that MO and OK really aren't (MO has more commercial connections to Chicago or Minneapolis than Houston in a lot of ways).

but it also has its share of racists, like the two guys who went around shooting African-Americans last year. It's also the home of Oral Roberts University, and consistently votes Republican.

Oklahoma, like Texas, is heavily dependent on oil production

And Huntsville, with its NASA facilities and university, is not your typical Alabama town.
