Honestly, the LAST tatoo I saw was a Maltese Cross

on the back of the neck of a 20-30 something guy installing a 300 amp electrical service to a house I've been building for most of my adult life.

I'm not quite sure how to relate to this reality. Was I TOO LONG in getting to power hook-up? Did I DESERVE to be serviced by a NAZI??????

Was Wisconsin Energy (WE-Energy) too short of money and forced to get SKINHEAD labor?

I'd life to bury this, and 900 feet of electrical cable, and go on with my life.

I suspect you mean an Iron Cross shape which is a "cross pattée" not Maltese.

Calling a the shape of the George Cross a Nazi symbol kind of grates as well as really annoying members of the St John's Ambulance service.

Perhaps you would say US Eagle could be described as a vulture - because I would not and I'm British.
