They despise the federal government and they have made that known. The Republican party is a bunch of roving neo-confederate anarchists and they want to burn down the entire federal government.

Except for the military, they really don't want to fund any part of the government. Centers for Disease Control? They don't care about that agency. EPA? Pfffft. NASA? Food inspectors? Fuck 'em all is what the Republicans think.

They'll keep this dog and pony show going the next 3 years if they can. As long as the federal government is shutdown, they think they will have finally "taken care of" Obama and they don't care if millions of people suffer.

This is how much they hate that black guy in the white house.

They're willing to burn it all down.
