They'll come up with a list of demands the Senate and President can ignore.

IMO, Democrats and Pres Obama have been more than accomodating. Repukes have just been tempre-tantrum throwing children. Negotiations are over, there is no reason to give them a face-saving concession....that time has passed. They get nothing but unconditional surrender.

They're using it as cover methinks for gutting everything they don't like but can't do in the light of day. Of course, however, revenue will be off the table and they will be able to point to whatever comes out of the committee as being completely "bipartisan" as they are way too chicken to actually propose the cuts themselves, particularly the SS/Medicare
