I haven't seen the tattoo thread but based on what I saw of the wrinkle thread it seems like people are trying to make the point that prejudice and hiding people by their appearance is wrong, and if that's the case I don't see the correlation to cheerleaders or whatever they'd be arguing about pom poms for.

in one way or another. I know I do, I'm old, fat, female, and definitely look my age.

And (_|_) anybody who says I need to starve and surgery my way into looking more like the magazine standard.

29. Definitely agree. I am old (74), female, not fat yet,

but the wrinkles are creeping up and no matter all the creams and lotions I use, I can't stop them. The last resort is plastic surgery which I can't afford.

and the only thing I use on my face it Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap, I like the tingle.

I've noticed too many people getting plastic surgery on one part who then notice how bad it makes everything else look so they get "just one more" surgery until they end up looking very peculiar.

No thanks, I'll just look like the old broad I am. Besides, I like my invisibility cloak. It's very restful after all those years of street harassment from men trying to impress their buddies.
