I've been listening to cable news all day. I have to shut it off. I'm going crazy here - worrying about my retirement funds and what this Repug/Tea Party induced crisis will do to my nestegg. I keep hearing all these talking heads analyzing the situation. They seemingly know what is going down - but nobody is able to do anything to stop things and we are all just left to watch it happen.

They are talking now about 'Citizens United' on steroids and how that will impact elections going forward. We're all screwed if this is upheld by SCOTUS. I give up. I just can't take it any more. I feel helpless and I realize that is just what certain groups want us to feel. I know this - yet - I quit.

I'm going to turn on some network sitcoms and try and get my mind off all this other crap - again which is just what they want us to do. Well they are succeeding.

Right now I'm paralyzed with fear and I can't get anything done. My business is suffering. My spirit is being broken.
