... into supporting the ACA yesterday.
They were mouthing off and I finally said "hell, you're probably right.. go thru the signup process and see how much more it's gonna cost you, then you have something to back it up!"
(inner evil laugh)
#1 - would have their premiums go for >$600/mo to $112
#2 - premiums down to $65/mo (don't know the original)
#3 - premium .. $0!
they all three called me to APOLOGIZE for spreading so much bullshit and would be telling EVERYONE they knew that they were wrong and needed to sign up.
two of them called me again to say they now support PBO and agree with him that the GOP are trying to hold the country hostage!
One. Step. At. A. Time.

Everyone who is saving significant amounts of money from Obamacare is going to know that the RepubliCONS were/are liars. And they are going to be thanking the Democrats.

(15,696 posts)We should make posters with your quote and plant them next to R campaign signs.
We can all be heroes by engaging (innocently of course) the republicans with one simple thing - let them check it out and find the truth. Then ask them if they want the red or blue pill.

(445 posts)(NaturalNews) Obamacare is going to crash and burn from technical issues more than political concerns, it seems. Youve probably already heard that virtually no one can sign up using the online Obamacare exchanges. The web forms are broken. The code is buggy. The data integration is a jaw-dropping failure.
This is why, all over the country and across the media, no one can seem to locate anyone who has successfully signed up through Healthcare.gov. Even the one person the Obama administration rolled out as a success case turns out to be completely staged and fabricated.

The only link is for $89.11 to send 2 fax messages of the same message to 435 members of congress.

(12,296 posts)It took my daughter several tries before she could get her account validated. She finally got it validated and since we have a Repub governor who refuses to extend Medicare she found that she made TOO LITTLE yes you read that right, to get insurance so she doesn't know what she is supposed to do. Remain uninsured for now I guess.

(9,033 posts)There is a donut hole between unexpanded Medicaid and federal subsidies on the exchange. If your state (with a Repuke gov, it goes without saying) doesn't expand Medicaid, low income people can fall into it: too high in income to qualify for Medicaid, too low to qualify for federal subsidies.
This demonstrates how big a rat bastard Chief Justice Roberts is, since he is the one who ruled Medicaid expansion non-mandatory.
HuskyOffset
(889 posts)to loudly and emphatically give proper credit to the R governors when you run into this. I'm in Wisconsin, one of the states that isn't taking the expanded Medicaid, and I've run into one person who is losing their Badgercare (what WI calls its Medicaid program) and blamed it on Obamacare/ACA until I gave them the correct information.

(1,290 posts)Rachel (or any other News Host) should invite a Jo Schmo onto her show to sign up live on her show to show the entire TV viewing world how easy the process is AND to see the options available and hopefully premium savings as well.
She could start the signup live and then continue with her show all the while having a "Signup cam" in the corner while on Jo Schmo as he proceeds with his signup while occasionally breaking live to get an update on his progress.

(14,174 posts)As a Canadian, I am very proud and grateful to Tommy for being so tenacious in getting us our national universal health care.
I am just sad that our brothers and sisters down south of us could not have undergone the same transformation at the same time. I guess they had other problems to overcome during that time period.
I wish someone would have asked Hannity & Co. or a leading Republican during the health care debate "if Canada's healthcare system is in such disarray, why did they vote Tommy Douglas as being the Greatest Canadian ever?"
