you think the US House of Reps will tip over in 2014 much like the CA state house did in 2012?

Although there is still a lot of work to do, I think most Californians agree that California has found its groove back after many years of GOP obstructionist in the state house.

The voters finally took the keys to the candy store away from the GOP and their minutemen friends, and California is finally on the rise up, with an even more empowered and effective executive in Jerry Brown.

I wonder if the US will catch on to the same lesson as California.

Sure, some individual Democratic voters like those here on DU will remember; but the vast majority of voters will not give this shutdown a second thought in November 2014.

There was almost no change. Democrats went from 52 to 55 and Republicans went from 27 to 25.
