The litigation is moving forward but we are stuck with the current maps for the 2014 elections. Several of the parties are getting the State of Texas to pay legal fees for the past litigation

All the states have been gerrymandered to one degree or another.

There are almost a million more registered Dems than Repukes, even Ind outnumber repukes. Although equal in blame to gerrymandering (which Dems participated in to save their own safe seats) for election losses is a hopelessly dysfunctional state party.

Dems received more votes statewide than repukes in 2012 in both states. But thanks to gerrymandering, NC broke 9-4 repuke and PA 13-5.
