(17,064 posts)There are almost a million more registered Dems than Repukes, even Ind outnumber repukes. Although equal in blame to gerrymandering (which Dems participated in to save their own safe seats) for election losses is a hopelessly dysfunctional state party.

(78,249 posts)Dems received more votes statewide than repukes in 2012 in both states. But thanks to gerrymandering, NC broke 9-4 repuke and PA 13-5.
