Biker-SUV NYC Incident

it turns out that there is a clip (MSNBC showed it) in which the cop was seen smashing the rear window of the SUV as the other biker was smashing the front drivers side window. Just watch the NYC PD try to white wash this. Fucking cops always excuse their own misbehavior and crime.

2. Can't find the video, here are two stories about it:

A damning new video contradicts an undercover NYPD detective’s story about his role in a motorcycle mob’s attack on a panicked driver, a police source said Tuesday.

While the cop claimed the beatdown was breaking up when he reached the scene, the seconds-long video clip caught him joining the bikers who surrounded the Manhattan family in their SUV.

“It shows him punching the back window, and then as the camera is moving, it catches him maybe throwing a kick at the side of the car,” the source said.

“Once the beating starts you can see him hop on the bike and take off,” the source said. “So he's not involved in the assault, but he lied. He wasn't truthful.”

An off-duty undercover cop who claimed he took no active role as fellow bikers pulled a Manhattan dad from his SUV and beat him to a pulp actually furiously slapped the car’s back window so hard that it shattered at the height of the bloody road-rage attack, sources told The Post.

The cop, a seven-year veteran, had told investigators he didn’t help the injured man because he rode up to the scene as the beating was nearly over, sources said.

The development came as another biker who helped in driver Alexian Lien’s beat-down was arraigned in Manhattan Court on Tuesday.

Craig Wright, 29, of Brooklyn can allegedly be seen on video throwing punches through the shattered driver’s-side window of the 33-year-old victim’s Range Rover in front of Lien’s terrified wife and 2-year-old daughter. Wright is also seen allegedly kicking Lien outside the SUV. He was held on $100,000 bail Tuesday.

Reginald Chance had a suspended license and got off of being charged for having a gun:

Edwin Mieses was sentenced to jail in 2004 for distribution of cocaine, in 2001 for operating without a license, in 2000 for possession of a firearm, and in 1999 for possession of marijuana, receiving stolen property, destruction of property and attaching plates.

Now he wants to sue the SUV driver for what happened. Its like someone breaking into a house then suing the homeowner for beating them. Maybe if he wasnt a criminal he wouldnt be in the position he is now. Hard to find sympathy for a guy like that.

I fucking knew it, the reason that "cop" didn't intervene and stop the beating is because he was one of the assaulters!! Fucking piece of shit, should not only be fired, but thrown in jail for a long time! Which probably won't happen, cuz he's a cop you know, he's above the law

Grrrrrr!!!

( sorry I cursed)

6. why do you keep insisting that the NYPD wants to whitewash this?

I notice you didn't bother answering that before when I asked in another thread. There is no one more angry at this detective than the NYPD. Even if he was on duty undercover since it is appearing that his assignment was to infiltrate this group, I'm not seeing a reason why he thought he needed to participate in the assault on the vehicle or the occupants in order to preserve his cover. They took his gun and badge and he's hired an attorney. What on earth makes you think that the NYPD has any desire to cover for him? There's no one more pissed off at him than the NYPD.

Yeah, we get it already. You hate cops and have no intension of looking at even this one case with anything close to logic.

cops have become arrogant, steroid drive, power hungry fuckers who usually care only for their own. They have acquired this us-vs-them mentality.

You just believe they do because you have an unreasonable hatred of all police officers which is an affliction of far too damn many people here. They're never in the habit of protecting their own when their own do something to sabotage their own operation if in fact that's even what he was doing since it's becoming more and more evident that his undercover assignment was to infiltrate this group. They took his badge and his weapon and he hired an attorney. How on earth does that equate to their wanting to whitewash it? It doesn't.

Your blind police hatred is the problem here not the NYPD. The only reason you even made this OP in the first place was to get all warm and fuzzy having a thread of cop bashing that you like to do so much. And sadly you're hardly the only one. There's an epidemic of jerking off to cop bashing on DU. It's a perversion that makes no logical sense.

I'm not optimistic, but that's my honest feeling. I will probably trash all related threads as I do gun threads and abortion threads.

9. Many people have good reasons to distrust cops

I personally got the shit kicked out of me during a protest, and no, I wasn't breaking the law in any way shape or form when it happened, and not a god damn thing was done about it, except for me getting a threatening letter from the PD saying they will sue me if I continue to publicly talk about the incident, since they found no wrong doing by their fucking cop.

14. what does ONE cop doing something bad to you have to do with
Tue Oct 8, 2013, 03:18 PM
Oct 2013

Every cop in the nation? Not one fucking thing. I was once assaulted by a black guy. Is it even slightly reasonable that I should now hate and distrust all black guys because of that? Of course not, that's STUPID.

I once had my house robbed, and though the police that came to the scene were nice, the chief kept calling the robber my boyfriend when I hardly even knew him much less was even a friend of his, and him being my boyfriend was an absurdity especially since my actual boyfriend came with me to try to find out what the department was doing about the robbery. He was an asshole. ONE asshole out of all the officers on the force that I had any interaction with, and despite him being both the department head and an asshole it didn't leak down to the rest of the force under his command.

See, I'm capable of logical thinking and applying my anger to those that actually earned it rather being so completely STUPID as to bigotedly broadbrush an entire group for what one did or what some did because I'm not so STUPID as to not realize that people are all individuals and don't all think and act the same way and not the same way in all circumstances like robots.

Your own post shows why you so STUPIDLY hate all police everywhere. Let me guess, your saying that police departments everywhere have a habit of protecting their own when they're guilty of something is also because of this one incident.
