The demands won't stop here. The tea party will hold us hostage over and over again if we cave to them; their demands becoming progressively more extreme.

How are negotiations supposed to take place when the initial offering on the floor is, "give us exactly what we want with no concessions or we'll tank the economy!" The tea party has given no room to budge - this isn't "strong-willed" or "ballsy" - it's extremism rearing its ugly head!

Never trust a group that uses the safety and prosperity of a nation as a bargaining chip. It's a sign that they won't hesitate to screw you over and even ruin your life for their own purposes.
