Question Regarding Swiss Minimum Living Wage (Inflation or No?)

I'm in an argument with someone who thinks that the recent minimum living wage in Switzerland will cause inflation. I say it will not, but can't provide a detailed analysis as to why this is so.

Any economic gurus can't point me to relevant sources regarding the effect of this law on inflation?

Much appreciated!

That's why I want to bury him with detailed figures.

above the Federal limit.

IIRC, IL did. IN didn't. Very similar states. No detectable inflation in IL.

That pattern repeated all over the country - states that raised minimum wage did not suffer any detectible inflation. Now, being within the same country mitigates inflation somewhat, but not completely - just ask folks in CA how much they get to pay for food compared to, say, NC.
