Boehner, asked if he would allow a vote on a clean CR, walked out humming "doo, doo, doo"

John Boehner Wants To Negotiate, Skirts Question On 'Clean' CR
Posted: 10/08/2013 10:37 am EDT

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said Tuesday that he wants to have a "conversation" with President Barack Obama and congressional Democrats over the government shutdown and looming deadline to raise the debt ceiling.

"I want to have a conversation, I'm not drawing any lines in the sand," he said at a press conference, alongside other members of GOP leadership. "There's no boundaries here, there's nothing on the table, there's nothing off the table."

<...>

He dodged a reporter's question at the end of the press conference on allowing a vote on a "clean" continuing resolution -- a bill to fund the government with no strings attached -- in order to end the shutdown. Boehner said on Sunday that the House of Representatives did not have the votes to pass such a measure, but vote tallies by The Huffington Post and other outlets show that the bill would likely pass.

"Doo, doo, doo," he hummed, walking out.

The Speaker of the House, ladies and gentlemen.

Then...I propose we lift the sequester and fully fund the government, while eliminating the debt ceiling vote requirement. Put that on your table and smoke it, orange man.

And the markets will probably crash in spectacular form.

"Doo, doo, dooo."

And our economy will be screwed on purpose.

"Doo, doo, dooo."

Many, except the 1%, will feel the pain.

"Doo, doo, dooo."

And some just seem to think it unsportspersonlike to find a way to bring the conspirators, of a potential crippling fiscal collapse, to some kind of justice.

During a depression, who would go out of business first?
Wallmart?
or the mom and pop store?

Monsato?
or the small local company that takes care of you're lawn?

Who do republicans represent....
