they are so hateful and intolerant. I thought Christians were supposed to he compassionate and helpful to the less fortunate among us. This bunch has pretty much turned me off to religion altogether.

My Catholic church priest talks social justice all the time and is for UHC.

But I do know many of the fundie evangelical churches are pretty far right..

I work out with a guy who is a associate pastor at Baptist church and he told me women should never have been allowed to vote and he was not joking.
