So, the Republicans are going to demand spending cuts in exchange for raising the debt ceiling.

For one month. And of course, then they'll demand additional hostages. And, of course, they'll demand that Democrats come up with the spending cuts. And that they defund the ACA.

Time for a default, and time for every Republican in the country to reap the bitter fruit. It should be socially unacceptable to be a Republican.

If no democrats vote for it, he would need the Tea Party votes, and this is dubious they will be happy with it.

Given that there is little chance this passes the Senate, the only real question is whether the moderates will step up and vote NO.
