Lincoln's party became the Democratic Party. Roosevelt's Bull Moose party didn't last long and didn't attract many Republicans at all.

My mom is a 'union democrat', meaning she is a strong labor supporter, but maps conservative on most other issues. (Except perhaps abortion)
