1. In the house there are only two votes that count

Boehner the titled speaker of the house and Cruz the apparent speaker of the house.

Boehner isn't going to move unless the Freshman Congressman who is holding America Hostage tells him to.

4. I think there is an imbalance of powers if a speaker can do so much damage just to keep his job..

Obama should cause a constitutional crisis and use it to create failsafe mechanisms that will prevent this in the future...

I really hope he unilaterally raises the debt ceiling and the matter ends up before the supreme court..

Giddey that they are holding this much power right now. I think many of them would be doing the Happy Dance to see the US Government come down around their ears. These people are dangerous to our Democracy.. and hopefully will PAY FOR IT come election time. IN THE MEAN TIME, all hurt by this action, should obtain a Attorney and sue the hell out of them.. Make them pay personally for every bit of hardship they have thrown upon the American People.
