Who knew, the longer this went on the more the blame would shift

A delay in solving this helps repukes because they can continue to spew their propaganda and it's sinking in so the blame is getting more divided.

On the other hand, we are convincing the middle that these people are crazy and that is what it's all about, huh?

I can remember a shut down...the President eventually has lost the standoff because of public pressure..(this isn't scientific, just as I recall)

on. so, they pick a couple simple-minded phrases and they all repeat them over and over. Obama won't negotiate, ad nauseum. then bang, it reaches critical mass.

Republicans are great at PR.

I think it would be wise for Obama to talk to the American people. I'm not talking a few minutes during the day, but prime time.
