Tell them to stop the he-said, she-said bullshit and to hold republicans accountable for having the audacity to tell such insulting lies to the American public. Tell them to stop being lazy and use the facts at hand to call these liars on it.

Every. Single. Time.

I tuned in today to check what was going on in this "venerable" news institution. I was rewarded with utterly vapid conjecture from Dana Bash along the lines of "both sides have to come to an agreement" and "Is the president hinting that he's willing to talk about negotiating?"

Look at this polling: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/10/07/cnn-shutdown-poll-plenty-of-blame-to-go-around/

Nearly 70% of people disapprove of Republicans regarding the shutdown, but nearly 60% disapprove of Democrats! And over 50% disapprove of Obama. Independents are somewhat evenly split.

This is not possible unless large news institutions like CNN are not doing their jobs. The facts are lying on the ground to be distributed, like golden cobblestones in an immigrant's dream vision of America. Every single time a Republican is allowed to say "The Democrats aren't negotiating", some percentage of viewers are fooled. This can't be allowed to happen.

Contact CNN and tell them to join us in the reality-based community.

Or, we could just start lying ourselves. Nobody seems to care.
