A medical test being developed by Kuwait will be used to 'detect' homosexuals and prevent them from entering the country or any of the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC), according to a Kuwaiti government official.
GCC member countries Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates already deem homosexual acts unlawful.

Where's a rolling roadblock trucker convoy to protest these chuckleheads when you need one?

Still another reason not to visit the hideous desolation of the "Gulf states." I wonder if this will have any effect on the World Cup to be held in Qatar?

Not surprising in the Arab countries, I suppose. Our actions re: The Middle East have done more for radical Islamists than we could imagine. The more we blunder around over there, the more fundamentalists sprout up.

(11,733 posts)The routine clinical screening of expatriates coming into the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) might be also used to detect homosexuals, a senior Kuwaiti official has said.
A central committee tasked with the status of expatriates will look into the proposal when it convenes on November 11, Yousuf Mindkar, the director of public health at the Kuwaiti health ministry, has said.
Health centres conduct the routine medical check to assess the health of the expatriates when they come into the GCC countries, he said. However, we will take stricter measures that will help us detect gays who will be then barred from entering Kuwait or any of the GCC member states, he said, quoted by local daily Al Rai on Monday.

(27,670 posts)Imagine how lonely and horrible it must be to live with so much hate, confusion, and darkness inside your consciousness. Ugh. Like having squirming masses of maggots obscuring their souls, eating away at whatever remains of any human decency they may have left.
It has to be hell on earth for them. It's no wonder they are so fucking mean.
