They work in gov't health. I spoke to them and they agree with me about the problems with the ACA, btw... aka Gingrichcare... because the Individual Mandate was designed by Gingrich and Hillary Clinton to stave off single-payer... as reported on by Washington Monthly back in 2005 or so... despite the gov't shutdown making things worse for federal workers. Despite that my friend was at the daily protest and others, who have no problem pontificating about what the uninsured must do, were not.

Of course the protest is less likely to be there this week now that it's essentially a mandatory paid leave.

Based on what I'm hearing, I mean. /)^-^ I mean it's not like they were actually shot at for the cause of justice for federal workers or anything, but it really was quite dramatic. Or so I've heard.
