I was in Vietnam. When we were fired on we brought on maximum pressure. The GOP has always counted on the fact that we will do nothing or have a measured practical response. They are calling Obama a coward and are convinced he will cave and give them what they want.
I generally agree with your post, but now the GOP is saying they will gut everything and humiliate Obama. 'Boner' was very aggressive and angry today. He was very belligerent. I would shut down all the federal offices in his district and get his local phones going nuts from his own people. If I had the authority I would do it. And I would put maximum pressure on him and try to break HIM.
In my view we are getting to the point where Obama is facing that Armageddon. You could see the hatred in "Boner's" eyes. And there is a point you cannot hold back really.
"Boner" is saying he will not bring anything to a vote unless they get all they want. And we do not know what that is. They do not know what they want.
I liken it to a terrorist demand where the terrorist tells you to shoot your child so they won't shoot your wife. They are demanding this kind of "devil's" choice right now.
They are going to make it as bad as they want unless you come up with a way to shock them unexpectedly and just stun them. As far as I am concerned "Bonehead" is making a direct challenge and he plans to make it personal.
You have to be prepared to be a crazy as they are the way things are shaping up. They just do not think we will fight them on their terms.
