Isn't It Ironic? - what is an irony big or small you have experienced?

A small one, to me quite humorous - the year I gave up all things carbohydrate is the year that my potato patch in the garden had a bumper crop of the most beautiful potatoes in probably 20 years. Thank goodness I can give them away.
