The actor also said during an appearance on "Piers Morgan Tonight" that he does not "support the idea of gay marriage."

Former Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron is taking heat from GLAAD after remarks made on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight.

During Friday's interview, Cameron called homosexuality "unnatural" and "destructive."

"I think that it's unnatural. I think that it's detrimental and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization," the actor, who played Mike Seaver on the 1980s TV series, said on the program.

He became irrelevant after he was "born again".

He just likes control.

Kirk should mind his own business. Civilazion has had gay, straight, bi, and curious since dinosaurs walked the earth. A washed up child actor who found Christianosity late in life has just as much Gravitas as I do......see how that works?

The side that is opposing bigotry and seeking equality is right.

The side that is perpetuating discrimination is wrong.

The history of civilization tells us this quite clearly.

The media should start de-legitimizing "Focus on the Family", "the Family Research Council" "Concerned Women of America" etc. These are hate groups and should be treated accordingly.

Them and their representatives (like Cameron) should not be invited on to television discussion shows to spew bigotry disguised as some kind of valid, credible "opposition viewpoint."

It isn't.

It hasn't been observed in any vertebrates other than humans. Even fishes resort to the tried and true method of spawning instead of relying on a Deity to increase their numbers.

Christianity has also been pretty destructive, especially when you ask Muslims, Holocaust survivors, members of SNAAP, not to mention gay people living in fundie territory.
