Republicans are handing Democrats a gun...
..and telling them to shoot themselves in the head.
This is life or death folks. The Democratic Party cannot take the gun.
Perhaps John Boehner is betting the country on a possible inside straight? He is putting all his chips on the table. We have no choice but to call or to fold.
We can only assume that Republican voters agree with their leaders. They voted for them and it is up to Republicans to let their leaders know if they disagree with their policies?
It has come to this. Both Parties are fighting for their survival. Democrats cannot fold or they would have voters across the nation desert them in droves. Republicans cannot fold or they would surrender whatever facade they have been hiding behind for decades.
Democrats have no choice but to stand their ground. In decisions such as this, you must follow your heart and do what you think is right. It is no time for pragmatic surrender.
Until we can capture these crazed maniacs and put them in strait jackets, we must persevere and remain strong in our convictions. It is not up to our Party to compromise anymore. The ball is in John Boehner's court.
