Now, I know the repubs are in trouble...

My RW bush-loving evangelical mother is pissed that the repubs are wanting to stand in the way of women having access to contraception. My mother is something else. She is pro-life, but does not want the goverment anywhere near a woman's choice except to make sure she has it. My mother grew up before Roe v Wade and knows full well how all of this impacts women's rights.

She said that at this rate, she is just going to stay home come election day.

This sounds like a old joke but....I had dinner with two Independents and a Libertarian. In 2008 around this time (pre-Sarah Palin) Two were pro McCain and one was for Paul. By the time of the elections one voted for Obama and the other two for McCain.

Last night every one proclaimed President Obama as their choice and they all took a "Women Vote!" bumper magnet to put on their cars.

From now on, every federal, state or local vote against women's medical rights needs to be front page news and each one should be a link in a chain to hang around the republican nominee's neck.
