Who else is stuck with a "Suicide Caucus" congresscritter? Vent here.

Suicide Caucus, see http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/comment/2013/09/meadows-boehner-defund-obamacare-suicide-caucus-geography.html

Meet my PA asshat, who, thanks in part to Repuke gerrymandering, I'm probably stuck with for the rest of my life:

Complaining about this miserable excuse for a representative is all I can do at this point (other than futile letter writing). He has a sweet job for life, and he knows it. The very best I'll ever be able to hope for is a slightly less crazy R. to primary his ass and win. Maybe it's time to think about pulling up roots---retirement is not too far off.

I know others are in similar situations. Name your congressmaniac, and share your coping strategies.

Been around a long time, will never be voted out. No use writing him. he sends generic answers to everything. He votes with the Tea party always. Not very smart, but not a smart-ass ignoramus always blabbing some idiocy like some others from Texas.

he has recently come out publicly for bringing this thing to an end. It's the first time in about 50 years of calling my reps (I started late), that I ever saw any movement or change from anyone.

This particular asshat is of course worried for his seat (though he's been in congress for a very long time).

I'm getting sicker and sicker of being a Pennsylvanian. And if I were under 65, like a lot of my family, that would be a literal truth.

Received one of his unannounced Telephone Town Halls last night. For a change I picked up the phone to listen in I listened as he shouted in an angry tone to two callers,m one pro, one against the shutdown. The congressman polled the participants about a partial funding measure to include veterans, and a couple other groups. I hung up after hearing that 83 percent of the callers agreed with him.

I sat here for a minute, then called his DC office, and left my opinion that he should be working instead of being on the phone. I also asked why he seemed so angry.

I didn't get a chance to call during office hours today, but I intend to call again on Friday.
