I've a young relative who has been passing this on to others. Sigh.

4. Yesterday I was told by a woman that her mother

who is on Medicare will be dropping it because of Obamacare. I asked why and she said "Because she is 71 years old and refuses to meet with the panel that will decide if she gets to see a doctor".

I tried to explain that her mother was confused and she repeated that her mother knows what she is talking about. I then asked where/how her mother gets her news and she said from the newspaper. I said that her information could not have come from a newspaper and asked if her mother is online. She responded yes and so I asked if what she reads. It took awhile but if finally came out that she connects to a couple of different prayer groups for daily devotions and news updates.

I gently tried to explain to the daughter that she needs to help her mother understand that she has bad information but then the woman explained that "Isn't doesn't matter anyway because all of the doctors are quitting because of Obamacare." She went on to explain that she knows this for a fact because her sister works in a doctor's office. My guess is that she is on the janitorial staff.

Note: This conversation took place less than 10 miles from two Medical schools/complexes so we have a large concentration of doctors who I guess will be out looking for jobs at Walmart. Also, the woman has no insurance, two part time jobs and her husband has been unemployed for 3 years and they will definitely NOT be checking out Obamacare because she doesn't want the government telling her what to do.
