A woman with a child in a car rammed an entry point at the WH?

Last edited Thu Oct 3, 2013, 04:55 PM - Edit history (2)

How odd!

Seriously Odd.

I would not be surprised if there wasn't some sort of car jacking happening also.

Who would do something like that voluntarily with their child along for the ride? There has to be way more to this story.

Latest report from channel 4 in DC is she was not killed and was transported to medstar.

Update: She is dead. Connecticut plates on the car.

Update 2: Holy shit, there's video of her at the barricade, she drives away and there are 7 shots off camera. The video shows her driving off around a circle and then off to the races.

There is also video of the cop hitting the barricade near the capitol.

I've also seen it reported that several officers were shot and that none were. Apparently the guy they transported via helicopter was in a massive car crash while trying to evade some sort of barrier of spikes that was raised to catch the suspect.

I'm hoping they've sorted out some facts by the time the evening news rolls around, but that's more a hope than an expectation.

Not making a lot of sense with current information available.

chase on foot. Maybe she had a rapid mental breakdown, like a schizophrenic break with reality.

I also have a hard time understanding how anyone could place their child in danger. Then again, I know a drug addict that took her toddler with her on an illegal drug buy in Houston. The only reason we found out about it was that she was in her grandparent's car (without permission) and had a car wreck.

last night. not a biggie. 15 just learning to drive. the owner of the house friends got here first. taking pictures. i meet them out there and odd. i ask what is up...

none of your business

what are you doing,

none of your business

you are taking pictures

not illegal.

i am thinking what the fuck.

i am in upper income home, these people own a business, i am not runnign away, only pleasant interaction with owners. odd.

i was saying, this really did not need to be this way and the wife went off. yelling and screaming. her husband was holding her back.

i am really thinking, this is so weird. we are hitting 50

my son was floored.

people are acting weird now a days.

people are so angry, so pumped up by the hate, scared, ... if this woman driving car into white house was dependent on income from the shut down, who knows.

I guess this is what happens when people for a couple generations live in a bubble like "Pleasantville" then they are suddenly faced with the reality that their paradigm is falling apart. When they realize their world of the cushy life or the TV sitcom is vulnerable to breakage, anything can happen.

The real world is coming home to America and we aren't prepared for it.

Just meet incivility with civility. It's hard, but it helps cushion the pain. I hope your 15 year old learns that lesson instead of the ugliness of retaliation which is more prevalent.

I got a post hidden over making light of someone getting shot, and now we find No ONE got shot. I had posted that BEFORE the misinformation was given. Granted, shootings aren't funny, but I would rather have these loons go to the source rather than a school yard. If the chickens are coming home to roost, let them roost in DC. And I am NOT pro-shootings.

We would be then screaming, "Why didn't someone do something????!!!!"

If you act like a whack, for whatever reason, there is a high probability that police will use force. They will shoot and ask questions later.

Moral of the story: Don't act like a whack.

It's unfortunate that someone was killed but, to me, the police were just doing their job from what I know about the story right now.

I'm guessing either raging ODS, or garden variety mental illness like schizophrenia. Either way, I don't blame the police one bit for handling it like they did.

You might just cool it with the wild speculation. We don't know the details. Yea, it kind of looks like some sort of mental illness. Perhaps the cops were justified in using deadly force. We don't know. Whatever the circumstances, it sucks the poor kid saw their mother shot and killed.

Turns out those were BS.

And even if mental illness was the ONLY reason this happened, given her behavior and where this happened and the threat of terrorism, I don't fault the police one bit.

She could have killed them with that car. Did you watch the video?? And at least one LEO is seriously injured.

I'm not cheering her death, but I'm not criticizing it either. This is one of those sad outcomes when we refuse to take proper care of our mentally ill.
